The Foundations of Medicine is rooted in the belief that fundamental basic science is critical to professional development in studying medicine. Our course is designed to provide postgraduate professionals with the foundational knowledge and principles relevant to study of medicine such as an overview of cell biology, metabolism, genetics and embryology, histology, physiology, immunology, medical microbiology, medical parasitology, pathology, pharmacology, and essential biostatistics. Upon completion of this course, you will gain a basic understanding of the fundamental biomedical science principles before beginning your preclinical studies.
